This name must be heard by many of us for the first time. Alopecia Areate, is a disease of chronic hair loss in patches.  It is a disease of baldness on the scalp, eye brows and bearded portion of the face. In majority of the portion one can see fall out of hair in patches whereas in some cases it may be extreme. Sometimes it can lead to loss of hair completely.

The condition of Alopecia Areate occurs when the white blood cell attacks the cells in hair follicles, causing them to slow down hair production.
