HOW TO AVOID SKIN CANCER?



Skin is the thin layer of tissue on our body which forms a natural outer covering and protects our body from heat and dirt. But it is also our responsibility to take care of the skin from diseases like Skin Cancer.

Most of us like to soak a little warmth of the Sun to feel relaxed and boost our spirits but not to forget the harmful UV (Ultra-Voilet) rays of the sun can also cause skin damage and its related problems like wrinkles, sagging, leathering along with skin cancer.

One should always avoid tanning of the skin. Tanning is always harmful for the skin as it damages the DNA and can also lead to changes in Skin Cell. Cover up your Skin always with clothes including a broad brimmed hat and UV- blocking sunglasses.

Using a sunscreen with SPF 15 or more everyday reduces chances of Sun burn. It is always advisable to keep Infants away from direct Sunlight as their Skin is very delicate to avoid Skin Cancer in the near future.

Examination of your skin is very important if you observe any changes in your skin. Consult your Physician every year for a professional Skin Cancer examination and ask measures to protect your skin from it.
