ALOPECIA AREATE FACTS


This name must be heard by many of us for the first time. Alopecia Areate, is a disease of chronic hair loss in patches.  It is a disease of baldness on the scalp, eye brows and bearded portion of the face. In majority of the portion one can see fall out of hair in patches whereas in some cases it may be extreme. Sometimes it can lead to loss of hair completely.

The condition of Alopecia Areate occurs when the white blood cell attacks the cells in hair follicles, causing them to slow down hair production. The exact reason behind this disease is known but it is believed that there is a genetic reason behind it. If a person’s close family member is suffering from this disease than the chances of suffering from it increases.

The most pre eminent symptom of Alopecia Areate is the fall out of hair in the shape of coin. The loss of hair can be sudden and in patch form mainly from the scalps, but nay hair bearing sight such as eyebrow and bear can also experience the same type of hair loss.

Unfortunately there is no specific cure found by the experts for Alopecia Areate but few precautions can be taken to prevent this disease like applying sunscreen while going out in the sun, wearing sunglasses to protect the eyebrows and headwear such as hats and scraps to protect the hairs from the sun.
